The study of application of air collector is fairly wide at home and abroad at present, but the studies for single chip collectors are more than that for integrated solar air collector. Therefore, the theoretical and experimental research of integrated air collector with three kinds of cover:glass covers, polycarbonate cover, no cover was done, in order to provide the theoretical basis for the product development and engineer design.The mathematical model was established for the integrated air collector with three types of covers and the numerical calculation obtained; In addition, the fluent software was used to simulate the thermal performance of the collector to compare with the numerical calculation and analyze the results. In order to verify the mathematical model and the numerical calculation and the numerical stimulation, the test was done for the physical model of the integrated air collector. The results indicate that the numerical calculation, the numerical simulation and the experimental test of the collector with three types of covers were basically coincided, which showed that the model established in this paper is correct and can be used to analyze and study the collectors.The efficiency equation was built for the integrated air collector with three types of covers, and the result was compared with that of the mathematical model, knowing that the two results were in good agreement, this indicated that the equation built can be used to evaluate the performance of integrated air collector.The results of numerical calculation were used to analyze the relevance between the performance of the integrated air collector and some parameters such as temperature, flow rate, height.etc, some suggestions about the optimization of parameters were also given in this paper.The results showed that the phenomenon of the uneven temperature distribution in the traditional and flow with dead zone was improved by the integrated air collector and the integrated collector with cover has a good performance of heat collecting.
