With the driving simulator widely used in driving training, the training mode," simulation and real vehicle", gradually draws people’s attention. Studies in our country and abroad shows, This way can improve training efficiency and reduce training time.But there are still some problems in the use of this mode.For example,How to identify the training time in real vehicle training and simulation training;what the result "simulation and real vehicle" training will be; If simulators are used for training, what are the practical requirements for the functions of simulators and training process.To find the answer to this problem, this paper focuses on the effectiveness of common physical simulator to identify the effectiveness of the use of the driving simulator. a hybrid training experiment of "simulation and real vehicle" for driving training (C1) was designed by using domestic common driving simulator as the training tool. The effectiveness of the simulation training and some related parameters were determined by means of the training experiments and related evaluations for the experimental group and control group in a driving training agency.The study showed that, the real vehicle training time could be reduced by24%, while road training time could be reduced by46%by using a driving simulator on the premise of the equivalent training effects. In addition the time arrangement and proportion of driving training for simulation training were proposed, which could provide the basis and reference to related department in China.
