As a very promising rising industry, LED recently becomes the new center of the international science technology and economy. LED has many advantages including high effective、long-lifetime、energy-saving as well as environmental-protecting, all of which make LED widely used in lighting industry. Integrated LED power system has been developed with the improvements of small size and low cost, which makes it more efficient but smaller, lighter and thinner. Also, the application of dimming method will help to improve the function of energy-saving and emission reduction. So the research of the design of LED driver and dimming will be the major project of lighting industry.This thesis is studying a LED driver, which is high effective, small size and low power and dimmable. This low power LED driver is using the AP1682non-dimming driver chip from BCD Company. The technology of PSR reduces the quantity of component to lower the cost and guarantees the small size of the product. Meantime, based on non-dimming circuit, we add the RC damping and bleeding circuit to resolve the flicking problem during the dimming. So the integrated LED driver system is dimmable and matching the common dimmers in the market perfectly.According to the test data of the experimental prototype, LED switching power supply system designed in this thesis can meet the design specifications, also suitable for LED lighting products based on leading edge TRIAC dimming platform. This will hold significant influence for the development of LED lighting system.
