In this paper, the matching of the resistance difference typed vertical axial wind turbine with water pumping is taken as the object to study the power matching problem in the wind turbine driving water transport process and dynamic behavior of wind turbines by testing and computer numerical Simulation and a theoretical prediction is proposed as well. Details are as follows:Firstly, by testing the servicing status of water pump in case of varying transmission ratio and constant wind speed, the maximum cycle efficiency and the optimum transmission ratio are obtained, a theoretical prediction is proposed as well. The result shows:the optimized transmission ratio at the maximum of water flow rate is 37.8 for a 5 bladed windmills with the wind turbine radius 1.0m and screw pump BPZ-18 in 2 groups of blast case at the wind speed of 6m/s, the test result is close to the prediction.Secondly, use the software FLUENT, using CFD research methods, using the computational fluid dynamics theory applies to the 2D simple modeling for the actual size of the vertical axis wind machines; and select the calculation domain size and simulation method, choosing wind speed 6m/s,7m/s,8m/s,9m/s at different rotation speeds to simulate. By observing the moment coefficient versus time curve, calculated and processed to obtain the curve of moment coefficients, wind turbine power and wind energy utilization with rotation speed at different wind speed; and also obtain the relationship curves of maximum of wind energy utilization and its corresponding with wind speed.Thirdly, maintain calculation domain size, taking wind speed 9m/s, rotation speed 41rpm, changing the distance between the center of the wind turbine and the former area boundary before calculating, and then obtain the relationship curve of the distance between the center of the wind turbine and the former regional boundary with wind energy utilization.Fourthly, have a test on wind site.The last result has an important significance in practical development and application of wind power system.
