Motor uses everywhere, especially widely uses in the small household electrical appliances.but how to realize the motor winding embedded automation during the process is a thorny problem, salient pole capacitor motor adopts stator salient pole to place the winding in order to make winding Compact and solid. We can use the theory of Double rotating magnetic field method to study the single-phase Salient pole capacitor motor. The oval magnetic field composes by two opposite round magnetic field, but it’s electromagnetic structure is different from traditional non-salient pole motor electromagnetic structure, we need special analysis it.There are many methods to study the single-phase capacitor motor, because the number of turns of main winding is different from the auxiliary winding, the magnetic field is oval. Under this kind of condition, analysis the mathematical model in the theoretical analysis method of rotating magnetic field while analysis the mathematical model by using the method of rotating magnetic field.it can divide the oval magnetic field into two parts, in other words, we can using two reverse circle magnetic field to synthetic.So far, there is many software to simulate the electromagnetic field of the motor, Ansoft is one of the most powerful software, but it is well known that the motor model is very complex, during analyzing the motor,it must do some idealized processing, so that making the motor model more simple, first of all, used the finite element software Ansoft’s RMxprt module to establish the model of motor which is based on the equivalent magnetic circuit method, then simulated the rated performance and the locked performance. Finally compared the figures of the magnetic flux density field with the measured data, from the error analysis it come to conclusion that the model set up by finite element method is accurate, the model is imported into the two-dimensional electromagnetic field for further simulation analysis, makes the results of simulation more closer to actual operation situation.Although the single phase induction motor need single-phase power only, but compared to the three phase induction motor, its efficiency is still low, so how to improve the performance of the single phase induction motor is the primary problem, study the effect of changing the core length of motor stator based on the right model, first of all, changed the core length under the condition of other unchanged, get an optimal value form all values, and then replace the original value with the optimal value.According to the simulation results of efficiency and rated torque. It can finds that all of two indexes are more better than the original model.it reflects the rules that core length affect the performance of motor.
