Energy becomes the engine which drives the economic growth with the development of thesociety, at the same time, energy crisis and environmental pollution are forcing human todevelopment and utilization of new energy. In recent years, the wind power technology isadequately development in the new century, just because wind power is a clean, non-pollutingand renewable energy sources, the technology of wind power generation is quickly promotionand popularization in side of large and medium-sized. But the technology of small wind powergeneration is developed slowly just because economic and geographical restriction. Wind powerand small-scale distributed micro-grid applications become more and more important, after theexpansion of demand for energy.In micro-grid, it is more simply and convenience that DC micro-grid connected to loadcompared with AC micro-grid, energy conversion efficiency of DC micro-grid is higher than ACmicro-grid. So, the DC micro-grid have a good development prospect, this paper is writing baseon a small wind turbine, the paper is designing a5kW small wind turbines, and build up a modelof small wind turbine, optimize the important structure of wind turbine. Analysis the small windpower generation system connected to a DC micro-grid.The main contents of the thesis are showing as follow:(1) According to the working principle and characteristics of wind turbine power generation,design a5kW small wind turbine, calculate all characteristic parameters of the wind turbine, buildup the wind turbine model and explain the shortcomings of existing small wind turbines. Put outone method to solve its weaknesses, that is add the gravity weights on the paddle shaft, and use ofcentrifugal force moment to change pitch angle. Improve efficiency and safety of wind turbine.(2) Using the ANSYS Workbench software platform to research which for small-scale windturbines to analyze the mechanical characteristics, analysis and key components of wind turbinemachine, to obtain the stress, strain and inherent frequency under different loads, verify the windmachine model design is reasonable. Optimize the design of the existing models, to reduceredundant transmission quality, and increase economic efficiency. Finally, put out the keycomponents machining process. Simulation machining of the spindle by using MasterCAMsoftware to, and put out the NC processing code of wind turbine spindle.(3) Using PISM software to build up wind power generation system and DC micro-gridstructure model. The structure model including wind turbine model, generator model, energystorage devices, and the model simulation. (4) Using perturbation and observation method to tracking the maximum output power pointof the wind power generation systems in DC micro-grid, and verified the perturbation andobservation method by simulation the model in PSIM software.(5) Simulation the output power after the wind running in a normal speed.Verified the loadcontrol method can be adjusted the overload protection of wind power generator in DCmicro-grid by Simulation research, The result show that the DC micro-grid can be normally andsafely operation by load control method, this method is not only can normally run, but it also canimprove energy efficiency.(6) Finally, summarized the full text, point out the deficiency and the direction of furtherresearch.
