The impact hammer is extensively employed in engineering,especially the hydraulic breaker. The working theory is hydraulic energy conversion to mechanical impact energy. Hydraulic Impact hammer works with excavator bucket rod and outputs energy. A large number of infrastructure is now being constructed in the phase of massive infrastructure construction in our country.The number of impact hammer will increase, how to improve the design scheme and increase work efficiency has gradually been in a hot research.This paper analyzes of the development of domestic and foreign research present situation and future trend. Secondly, the author expounds the present situation of the research and the design theory of hydraulic impact hammer.Meanwhile the prospect and question are put forward in the study.Extraordinarily,this study takes a certain type of impact hammer as an example.Computer simulation of heat balance simulation measurement is used to analyze,in order to obtain the optimal working parameters. The main works are as follows:(1)Analysis hydraulic impact hammer systemUse AMESim software simulates hydraulic impact hammer system. The quantity of heat change of hydraulic system at different input frequency, initial temperatures and operation time are analyzed. By contrast, the author success to establish a heating circumstance of hydraulic impact hammer model which is more complete and maneuverable. And after that puts forward a cooling method to provide a reference for reasonable arrangement of hydraulic impact(2)Analysis directional control valve which produces most heat in systemBase on fluid dynamics and other theories Pro/E software establishes a three dimensional model of directional control valve. And then imported into Fluent to divide the model into grids. After multiple simulation iterative, student obtain temperature distribution of the external of directional control valve of inlet and outlet. By analysis the temperature distribution, the causes of ultrahigh temperature have been found out and the appropriate improvement measures have been put forward.The stress of this paper is analysis the thermal equilibrium process of impact hammer hydraulic system, A new process of thermal analysis is proposed according to computer simulation technology. All the thermal analysis results above have provided a firm basis for the design and implementation of hydraulic impact hammer.
