Hydraul ic pile hammer was a kind of machine, which was widely used in architecture and dock to make base. As the result of the development of technology of integration of mechanics, electron and hydraulic pressure, hydraulic pile hammer has been researched and manufactured since 1970's because it could save energy sources and benefit environment. Compared to such conventional hammer as falling hammer and pile hammer using diesel oil, it owned some advantage like high transmission efficiency, low noise, high piling energy and easy controling. So research and development on it were taken in the world, which have an important influence on environment protection, energy saving and technology advancementAimming at the peculiarity and trend of hydraulic hammer, experiment equipment of the new type of it has developed. On the guidance of dynamics theory, by means of technology of dynamical measurement and signal processing and on the basis of experiment data and simulation result, the changing rule of major functional parameter of hydraulic hammer was researched profoundly and systematically. Thus dynamical model and computing method whose hydraulic system was applicable to hydraulic hammer of middle and small type was presented. Also scientific support of developing hydraulic pile hammer was provided. The major content and conclusion of this paper are generalized as follows.1.Through market investigation and information searching, not only a new type of hydraulic system which is applicable to middle and small type of hydraulic hammer is designed, but also a set of experiment equipment is realized.2.The dynamical and kinematic speciality of hydraulic hammer is analysed during piling. At the same time, the mathematical model is presented of each process. Based on mathematical model of each stage, simulation and analysis is made. The changing rule of displacement, velocity, acceleration can come to a decision from simulation plot during falling process of pile hammer. Research on simulation will be instructive in improving and optimizing design of its parameter.3.Through experiment using sensor and technique of dynamic measurement, the data of the pump pressure, pressure of upper and nether cavity of hydraulic vat and punching power has obtained synchronously. Then exact figure and corresponding relation of these parameter also some relationship between these parameter is got by means of technology of signal processing during elevating, falling and pressure-retaining.4. Based on neural network theory, it takes pressure of upper cavity as secondary variable and punching power as primary variable to build model of soft sensing. Thus punching power can be predicted using system pressure because of their functional relation. This type of measurement technology provides a new method to parameters measurement which isn't easy to got directly. Relation between systematic dynamical parameter and mechanics is got known.5 .The prediction model and algorithm of limitation load of pile hammer is put forword using grey system theory. The relationship between limitation load and these five primary is concluded, which is strong or weak.
