The large wind turbine has become the main method of using wind energy all around the word, the demands and production for wind turbines increase continuously. With the expansion of energy and environmental protection demands, the technology of wind turbine will be better and better. But there this still a large gap between us and developed countries, this situation is contradicted with demands of wind energy industry in our country.With the random wind load, the flexibility of wind turbine foundation has increased, leading the coupled motions of structures inside gearbox. Thus, the dynamic load of system has been intensified, and the characteristic of system changed. With the highly flexible foundation and random wind load, the actual working life of wind turbine cannot reach the designed life, which is 20 years, showing that the traditional method analyzing of dynamic system characteristics existing shortcomings. Therefore, intensively studying the dynamics of wind turbine system under flexible foundation and random wind load for analyzing the dynamic characteristics of system is of great reference value, and it is meaningful to the problems of performance and lifetime for wind turbine.The paper has considered the influence of random wind load and flexible foundation, building the coupled dynamics model of gearbox drive system, combining various internal incentives, reaching the dynamic response of key components of gearbox,computing the dynamic mesh force of each gear pair, arriving at the dynamic force of bearing on low speed shaft;on this basis, statics analysis was carried out on the bearing, dangerous section and maximum contact stress of the bearing was obtained; by the quasi static theory and mathematical statistics, computing the stress spectrum and fatigue life of bearing. The result is of great referance value for wind turbine service arrangement and reliability design.
