Fault information processing system is remotely managed data network automation platform that can capture real-time upload and remote operation of the substation grid data, scheduling staff to analyze the reasons for the failure to deal with failure events, evaluate protection equipment to provide strong support, while greatly improve the degree of automation of power management to quickly deal with failure, stable grid operation conditions, with high economic value and social value.The system is based on IEC61850 standards, in-depth study of the IEC61850 standard background, composition, structure and modeling ideas, such as elaborated IEC61850 standard for smart device object modeling methods, and examples. Fault information processing system for the huge amount of data and the characteristics of real-time requirements, the introduction of real-time database system with the traditional method of combining the database, so that data collection can stabilize substation protection equipment, safely and quickly transmitted to the master station in the hands of staff scheduling, real-time and greatly improving the stability of the system.Communications services as a bridge between the system and the substation, the paper focuses on the master communication mechanism is described in detail, the introduction of UDP communication, and its encapsulated packet structure a detailed explanation and instructions. With the continuous development of fault recorder technology, the fault recorder data within the real-time monitoring of substation equipment is our protection as an important basis for fault diagnosis, fault recording files by means of analysis, this paper presents a sudden change in the amount of current an important basis for the fault diagnosis method, and gives the corresponding formulas and algorithms to determine the fault basic categories, from single-ended and double ended ranging two ways to calculate the fault distance consolidated, following the security personnel reference for research.Fault information processing system makes full use of computer technology, greatly improving the timeliness grid fault handling, fault diagnosis to improve the reliability of the data processing capacity while increasing the dispatch center.
