This paper is mainly is aimed at the lubrication study of radial sliding bearing, using the method of numerical analysis. It studied the effects of different operating parameters on the lubrication performance of bearing. In order to solve the bearing lubrication characteristics, Gauss-Seidel iterative method and multi grid method are used in this paper. This paper also used FORTRAN programming language and ORIGIN software for drawing analysis. The work completed mainly includes:(1) To better understand and use the theory and method of the lubrication analysis, lubricating characteristics of hydrostatic oil cavity are studied. It discussed the changes of eccentricity and deviation angle when the entrainment velocity and load parameter change. The results show that with the oil region area far away from the center of the static pressure oil cavity, the main bearing area of the static pressure oil cavity is offset, at the same time, the bearing capacity of oil cavity decreases.(2)For radial sliding bearing, the pressure and film thickness are given in the figure of lubricating film under specific condition. This paper also discussed the change of the deviation angle and eccentricity to different entrainment velocity and load para-meter conditions. The results show that in a certain range, with the increase of entrainment velocity, deviation angle increases, eccentricity decrease, minimum film thickness increases; with the increase of load parameter, deviation angle decreases, eccentricity increases, the minimum film thickness decreases.(3) In order to better understand the influence of surface roughness on the lubrication performance of journal bearing, this paper gives the distribution of the pressure and film thickness under special lubricating film roughness condition. Meantimes, it also gives the distribution of film pressure and film thickness and the change of deviation angle and eccentricity under different roughness amplitude and wave length conditions. The results show that in a certain range, with the increase of roughness amplitude, deviation angle and eccentricity of bearing increas e; with the increase of wavelength, the deviation angle and eccentricity decrease.(4) For oil lubricated radial sliding bearing, this paper gives the distribution maps of oil film thickness and pressure under typical working conditions. It also discus ses the effects of loads, speeds and width diameter ratio to bearing lubrication.
