Composite material are with the strong construction, corrosion-resistant lightweight characteristics,so it find the wide application in the field of aerospace engineering.The traditional composite truss is constant, but compared to Chang-e III and Chang-e V detector, the Manned lunar need detector higher load carrying capacity,So the spindle tube with large diameter and small joints was designed.In this paper, the forming process of composite winding tapered struts has been studied.According to different geometry, the condition of the stable filament winding is deduced.The deficiencies in the forming process based on the experimental sample are found and analyzed, and the parameters of forming process are optimized.Final,the perfect samples are made. Main research results are as below:(1)According to the differential geometry and stable filament wound principle,we can deduce the condition of the non-geodesic stable filament winding.(2)According to the differential geometry and stable filament wound principle,we can deduce the condition of minimum length of non-geodesic stable filament winding.(3)The programming of spindly strut was generated by the CADwind,and at the same time the formula of the non-geodesic stable filament winding and the minimum length of non-geodesic stable filament winding are checked by the CADwind.(4)The mould of water soluble core is designed based on the characteristics of spindly strut,and then the mould was mached and repaired.(5)The deficiencies in the process base on the experimental have been found out,and analyzed,and the process are optimized,samples have been made more perfect.
