With the rapid development of technology, a variety of new materials have been created and applied into the people's production and daily life successfully. The composite materials which own numerous excellent performances are used in many fields especially in the aerospace domain widely. The filament winding technology has the advantages like product fist shape and high intensity in the process of producing composite materials. It has many advantages in the actualization of the technology and in the economic. With the continuing extend of the composite materials' application, the filament winding machine which is the core equipment of the composite material production, its efficiency and accuracy need considerable improvement. In order to improve the efficiency and reliability of the model replacement in the winding machine and reduce the labor's working intensity, the automatic core mold replacing equipment is designed in this dissertation utilizing the machine design and computer control technology.Firstly, the realization method of automatic core model replacing is studied in this dissertation. Secondly, the overall design achieve scheme, the design objectives and the functional requirements are proposed. The design implementations of the structure of the automatic replacing device, the transmission components and the automatic control system are given in the end of the dissertation.The automatic core model replacing device describes in this dissertation is a kind of electromechanical integration equipment. The main parts of the equipment are mechanical part and automation part. The mechanical part are composed by the transmit manipulator, the chain conveyors and feeding device component. The three part's mechanical three-dimensional models based on 3D design software Pro/E Wildfire are constructed in this dissertation. The automatic control part is the brain of the device; it controls the mechanical part's action to achieve the automatic core model replacing. The S7-200 series PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) are used to achieve the automatic control functions.The application of the designed automatic core model replacing device can produce good economic and social benefits.
