Shanxi is the national pilot province for recycling economy, of which the 2x660 MW CFB project with low heating value coal firing could precisely in line with the principles. The realization of the project can vigorously promote the circulation industry chain with transformation from coal to electric, the comprehensive utilization of coal gangue and fly ash resource to meet the national energy policy and strategic target of transformation development and spanning development for Shanxi Province. This will be the world’s first 660 MW power plant project with Circulating Fluidized Bed Boiler especially for coal gangue firing in Shanxi.Due to the long construction period, huge investment and slow return, in addition to affection of national policy, the local environment of investment, geography and policy, feasibility analysis is a critical way to judge the project to avoid the decision errors, which may lead to huge loss for all stakeholders.This thesis focuses on the feasibility analysis including local policy, investment environment, target market, technical procedure and financial evaluation for A Group for reference.
