Coal blending is important in clean coal technology from saving energy resources,protecting environment and reducing electricity-generating cost. It discusses the presentresearch condition of steam coal blending and the direction and technology of steam coalblending. Existing systems for steam coal blending are base on qualities of design coal.It is the first time to optimize steam coal blending based on coal quality engineeringanalysis.The thesis first introduces the actuality of national energy and the production, themovement and the need of steam coal. Then it finds the solution of the contradictionbetween provide and need of steam coal by the steam coal blending model basing on coalquality engineering analysis. In according to the prepreerence of coal species, it finds thebest project of coal blending and coal movement in order to reduce the cost of steampower plants.The coal blending model aims at the whole system of plants and the movementmodel takes coal species, reserves and the ability of production and movement of thecoal mine into account. The success application for No.2 power plant of yaomen is agood example.
