The ship plays a crucial role in the war at sea.And the side structure of ship as defense the anti-ship missile plays a lifeline role. In order to ensure the performance of ship in other areas, the ship broadside structure is mainly composed of stffened structures. Semi-armor-piercing projectile with wear armor and blast power,is one of the powerful weapons to combat ships.So many countries mainly use semi-armor-piercing projectile to attack the ships. Multi-layer target damage and ballistic charactes in the penetration process, especially the projectile ballistic deflection of penetration into multi-layer stiffened targets, so far have not done more research. With the experimental and simulation from the following aspects, trajectory characters of penetration into stiffened plates are studied.(1)According to the theory of penetration and the law of energy conservation, a mathematical model of the penetration of stiffened target is introduced.And the reliability of the model is verified by comparing the results with the experimental results.(2)The material parameters of projectile and stiffened plates are introduced as well as the J-C modle.AutoCAD and SolidWorks are carried out to design modles of the projectile and the stiffened plate. The simulation results by LS-DYNA and the experimental results of literature are compared. And the numerical simulation of the penetration of single stiffened layer in different oblique angles is carrid out to obtain the laws of the residual velocity、 ballistic deflection and target plate damage.(3)At first interval structures of multi-layered stiffened plates are designed.The simulation numerical of penetration of multi-layered stiffened plates in different attack angles and in different oblique angles by using LS-DYNA to get the relevant laws.(4)The experiments of penetration of multi-layer target plates in different oblique angles are done to study the laws of the penetration process. According to the experimental condition numerical simulation is carried out.The experimental results are compared with the numerical simulation to validate the reliability of the numerical simulation results.Through the research of this paper, we have obtained the correlation rule of the semi armor piercing projectile penetrating into the single and multi layer stiffened plates at different attack angles and different oblique angles. The conclusions can be used to guide the design and application of the semi-armor-piercing projectile and the ship structures.
