A Study Of 7.62 × 51 Mm Armor Piercing

In this paper, the overall scheme and bullet structure of 7.62×51mm armor-piercing projectile are designed according to the tactical and technical requirements of international trade, and the technical matters in the process in development are tackled in depth. Firstly, the overall scheme design and the detailed armor-piercing bullet structure of the projectile have been carried out. Then the bullet structure characteristics have been calculated, and its flight stability and strength has been checked out. Secondly, aiming at the process technical problems,such as lack of penetration, too high maximum bore pressure,poor dispersion density and inadequate trajectory consistence etc., the causes of problems have been analyzed, the measurements have been taken in the design and process, and good results are obtained. Finally, the economic practicality and quality reliability of the armor-piercing projectile are analyzed, and a set of process documents are applied to ensure quality reliability. The foreign trade test results show that the armor-piercing bullet can meet the tactical and technical requirements.
