The initial disturbance of the projectile plays a significant role in improving artillery firing accuracy. In this dissertation, a finite element model of a trucked-mounted howitzer coupled with the projectile was built accurately. Then, using Coupled Eulerian-Lagrangian method, the launching dynamics simulation was conducted. Meanwhile, in order to figure out how the projectile-barrel coupling factors influence the initial disturbance of the projectile, we conducted the simulation under different factors respectively. It provides a meaningful reference to improve firing intensity and overall structure design of the artillery. The main contents are as follows:(1) Firstly, The structure characteristics of the artillery and the meshing principles of finite element method were studied. Based on those points, the finite element model of the truck-mounted howitzer including the rifiled barrel and the projectile were accurately built using Matlab, Solidworks and HyperMesh softwares.(2) The compatibilities of Lagrangian Finite Element method, Finite Element-Smooth Particles Adaptive Coupling Method and Coupled Eulerian-Lagrangian Method in solving projectile-barrel coupling model were deeply studied. The engraving process of the rotating band into rifiled barrel was simulated using these three methods respectively. And, the motion of the mass center of the projectile, the deformation process of the rotating band and the dynamic engraving resistance were obtained and analyzed. The results show the effectiveness of Coupled Eularian-Lagrangian method in solving projectile-barrel coupling problem.(3) The launching dynamics simulation of the truck-mounted howitzer was conducted using Coupled Eulerian-Lagrangian Mehod. Variation Law on the velocity and acceleration of the mass center of the projectile, the parameters of the projectile disturbance and the contact force between the projectile bourrelet and the barrel was obtained and analyzed. Agreement with partial test data proves the launching dynamics model in a certain extent.(4) In order to simplify the dull modeling process, Python script was used to finish the ABAQUS preprocess. Influences of different friction coefficients, clearance between projectile and the barrel, the mass deviation of the projectile, the initial filling angle of the projectile and the deviation mass of the recoiling part et al were deeply studied.
