The 3-PSS parallel mechanism as the executive body of the automatic butt joint connector is a major link of the launch when take it as the equipment for carrier vehicle refueling. There are some difficult jobs during the process of jointing and initiative following-up which the rocket will swing slightly under the load of wind. It’s very necessary to design a hydraulic servo system which can work at the harsh, complicated environment continuous and stably, also it can ensure the connector with rocket joint rapidly, accurately and pinpoint follow-up in the process of refueling if we make the hydraulic system as the energy source for the 3-PSS parallel mechanism.Analyzing the total program of the automatic butt joint connector for carrier vehicle and confirming the working condition and each performance indexes, then get the main design parameters of hydraulic system. Design out the hydraulic system preliminary and conduct performance checking calculation about pressure loss and temperature rise of hydraulic oil of it, then check the rationality of the design.Design a suitable hydraulic servo cylinder and unfold special researcher on dust-free, sealing of dynamic friction directing at the special working condition of hydraulic servo system. And conduct checking calculation about stiffness, strength of cylinder barrel and piston rod of hydraulic servo cylinder. Because of the connector is installed on the rocking beam of launch tower, we need focus on the installation, distribution, vibration isolation, noise reduction, dust-free and decontamination about the hydraulic pump station of hydraulic system.We set up the mathematical modeling about pipeline affection including in the long hydraulic pipe. Then set up the simulation model of hydraulic servo system in AMESim. We get some graphs about pressure and rate of flow of the hydraulic system through simulation and analyzing, and check the rationality, steady of hydraulic servo system. Introducing the load-sensing technology in the hydraulic system and carrying out some structure improvement about primary system direct at the drawback about the low working efficiency of hydraulic system. Finally, research the working characters of load-sensing system and the power consumption of hydraulic system through improvement on structure.
