High temperature air combustion (HTAC) technology, which is a new type combustion technology with advantages of both highly energy saving and low pollutant emissions, is more attended in the fields of science and industry. To develop this technology accords with the situation of our country. Self-regenerative HTAC technology is entirely studied on a set of self- designed regenerative combustion system. Each combustion work state of switch cycle 360s, 1 20s, 80s and 40s is observed and measured in the mode of fuel (and 1st air)/2nd air same current, adverse current and both current on the kiln temperature of about 800C,I000C and 1150C. And the law of the system heat exchanging and pollutant emission is analyzed. The technical and economical appraisement of auto temperature controlled manners in proportional manners and pulsed manners is provided compared with normal temperature air continual combustion. In order to accelerate the HTAC technology development and extend its application by replaced the traditional combustion technology, the concept of mutual HTAC is brought forward to guide the research work for the future.
