High Temperature Air Combustion (HTAC) technology is a new kind of combustion technology developed from the first period of 90s' in the last century.In HTAC technology, the combustion air is heated up to 800 or 1000℃and the Concentration of oxygen in combustion air is lower than10 percent.There are some advantages in HATC, such as energy saving, high heat utility efficiency, low NOx emission and decreasing the scale of furnace.At present, the combustion air and gas fuel are heated by high temperature regenerator in order to recover the waste heat.The heat utility efficiency is raised, but the combustion could not be arranged well, the NOx emission is high and the environment is polluted seriously. In order to study HTAC more in every kind of furnace and to master the core technology (include regenerative burner, regenerator, switching valve and valve control system), in this dissertation the combustion characteristics of the High Efficiency Combustion Furnace are analyzed theoretically. The regenerative combustion and exchanger system are designed.The study is made u p for the blank in China.In order to further examine the characters of the features of the High Efficiency Combustion Furnace technology and to provide the general basis for China on investigation and developing this technology, the experiment project is advanced. Such as the heat balance test of the experiment, the measure of the hearth parameter, the capability experiment project of the regenerative exchanger, the capability experiment project of the exchanger, the experiment project of the regenerative about the exchange cycle and so on.On the basis of the experiment requirement, the first set of laboratory test system in China is designed and constructed.In the experiment, city coal gas is used as the fuel, the regenerative combustion and exchanger system are introduced.And the temperature of the furnace reaches 1250℃,the design of the furnace is developed.The design scopes of the experiment furnace include:noumenon of the regenerative combustion and exchanger, self-motion control system, electric transmission, inner energy medium provide system, automatization instrument, ITV system, supply electricity instrument, removing dust, protecting environment, fire fighting, safety instrument and so on. The regenerative combustion and exchanger technology are studying in one furnace at same time, and a complete set of project is advanced.
