A design for the turbine thermal test computing system (TTTCS) based on MIS/DCS is described in this paper, and the main program's codes for TTTCS has worked en, There are seven chapters: Introduction, System Analyzing, System Design, Thermal System Configuration, System Identification & Thermal Calculation, Real-time Monitoring & Result Process Management and Conclusion. This system is faced on turbine thermal test for power plant with the functions of inspecting the online states of all the units, data processing, calculation, and all the post process management. The key technologies are discussed in this paper.TTTCS is based on the computer network on which the MIS/DCS system is running, so it would make the MIS/DCS system more useful than ever. The graphical modeling technology based on ActiveX used in the system intends to provide a configuring platform, which could fit into most kinds of turbine units and varied work states. The system has been tested on Chongqing power station's MIS/DCS, and the result shows that all of the main functions worked well.Since the thermal system is complex, the main thermal system and other systems' questions are used different methods to solve. The configuration is used in main thermal system, and the table filling method is used in others. In TTTCS, the thermal system is defined as an oriented graph with device-interface method, the arithmetic of system identification is combined with other arithmetic used in the oriented graph and network optimization, and q-y-x method is used to solve the reheat system. The developing environment for TTTCS is VB6.0 under Windows 98/2000 operating system. The program is developed with SP/OOP methods, so it also could be used in other engineering fields.
