| In order to assess the carrying-capacity and technical condition of existing and new bridges rapidly and accurately, it expatiates the fundamental concepts and main contents. Each parts are elaborated. The assessing system for bridge carrying-capacity are developed. The examples testified that the system is accurate. It can offer the old bridges who need to be reinforced and reformed sufficient technical information.
