The locus shaping technique of machining the optical parts has broken away form the restriction of traditional technique of machining the optical parts and it explored out a new machining method to the spherical parts, especially, to the asperical parts.The microfeed technique is one of important methods of improving the machining accuracy of optical parts. Combined with the advanced techniques of the sensor~ computer and microfeed , to carry out the research on the microfeed worktable used to machine optical parts has important theoretical value and practical significance.In this paper, according to the technological requirement of machining optical parts and the principle of locus shaping technique, the author devised a special set of feed control system. To realize the large stroke microfeed in this feed system, the microfeed system of closed-loop feedback control was adopted. The system is controlled by the 89C5 1 singlechip computer and combinely driven by the stepmotor and piezoelectric ceramic, the worktable抯 position is measured by the raster position sensor.It抯 showed by the experiments that this control system can be controlled safely -. conveniently and rapidly, which can fit the requirement of machining optical parts and achieve the goals.
