The Study Of The Characteristics Of Cargoes That May Liquefy And Their Influences On The Transportation

This thesis uses the method of data analysis to study the characteristics of the cargoes that may liquefy from the aspects of qualities and quantities, and it also provides the methods to prevent the harms of these characteristics. It mainly includes: 1) the study of flow-state characteristic: the forming reason, the reasonable sampling of the cargo, the determining of the characteristic values, the preventing of its harm; 2) the study of shifting characteristic: the general behavior, the forming reason , the determining of the possibility of shifting , the influence of shifting to vessels, the preventing of its harm etc.; 3) the study of other characteristics: the study of self-heating and spontaneous combustion characteristics , the study of pollution characteristic, the study of corrosion characteristic , the study of freezing characteristic . Through the studies of these characteristics can provide a useful reference for the transporting of this kind of cargo, and guaranteeing the safety of marine practice.
