The theme of paper is study on the application of Liquefied Petroleum Gas to motorcycle engine. Through analyze the combustion and exhaust characteristics of LPG and petrol, the experiment system adopts electronic control system of Liquefied Petroleum Gas injection to provide fuel for motorcycle engine. Through researching the characteristic and adjustment factor of air fuel ratio, the paper can offer exactitude theories and viable plan for more effective using LPG, optimum matching electronic control system of Liquefied Petroleum Gas injection with motorcycle engine and intelligent control. At the same time, we improved a Two-stroke Fueled engine 1E40FM into the one also using the direct injection of liquid petrol gas. The electronic control system is developed whose core is M68HC11 single-chip computer which is produced by MOTOROLA Ltd., and matched by other electronically-controlled circuits. The performance of the engine matched the system is measured by experiment in which the single-chip computer can adjust the air-fuel and the firing angle of minimal engine. The data of experiment are processed and analyzed. We want to get the optimal electronically controlled data that describe the quantity of inject gas and ignition time. All of these are aimed to reduce pollution and consumption, enhance the efficiency. At last the results of analysis, which is the best value of the air-fuel and the firing angle of minimal engine with the various operating mode of engine, write these data into dedicated memory for engine. When motorcycles are running, in accordance with the various operating mode of engines, the air-fuel and the firing angle of minimal engine are being controlled. So the performance of engine can be improved greatly, the fuel can be saved and the pollution can be degraded.
