Based on the experimentation of 3 frame joints with inequiaxial L-shaped cross-section column under cyclic loads, this paper researches the anti-seismic behavior of the joins applying in practice. The following problems have been analyzed: failure form of joints > the strengths of shear and rupture ^ hysteretic behavior and the anchorage of beam bars. Compared with other joints of special-shaped column, the paper analyzes their failure characteristics > force-bearing mechanisms and contributory factors. Finally, some suggest is put forward in engineering design of inequiaxial L-shaped cross-section column joint.
