The Relationship Between Works Of Art And The Architectural Environment

Recently, with the development of the environmental art, the pure art forms have more thoroughly participated in the architectural environment. When enjoying the works of art such as sculptures and murals, people attach great importance to the meaning of art, the combination of entire environment, the relationship between works of art and architectural environment, as well as the relation of human and space.In order to inquire into this relationship, in the first chapter, author, on the basis of the cognitive theory, analyzes the relationship between works of art and the architectural environment from the philosophical aspect; in the second chapter, author discusses the relationship from the aesthetic aspect. If regarding philosophy as the foundation of the research system of this article, aesthetics is the frame to put it up; in the third chapter, writer respectively from several kinds of most common art forms analyzes the relationship between murals, sculptures, environment artistic creations and the architectural environment.On the basis of the research, a viewpoint was put forward in this article: Essentially, the combination law of works of art and the architectural environment is consistent with the creation law of art self. On the one hand, the works of art and architectural environment are mended mutually, and they are relatively independent with each other; on the other hand, we can view the works of art and architectural environment as an entirety, because a special work of art can only exist in the special environment. It is a kind of symbiosis. A pure work of art becoming a part of environment is the course of artistic recreation. In the creative course, the principles of art should run through from the beginning to the end.
