This article, using finite element method, calculated the assembly stress, working stress and modality parameter of hydraulic dynamometry rotor, and then simulatively researched the assembly and bearing process of the rotor.Hydraulic dynamometry rotor was casted from brass alloy. Because of the working requirement for driving liquid, the laminas of the rotor are assembled slantways and have a complicated structure .We respectively modelinged the laminas and the noumenon of the rotor, then connected the two models by restraint equation. The assembly stress, normal working stress and the modality parameter of the rotor were analyzed by using finite element analysis software, Ansys, according to the real working condition. In view of the different design of the interior groove of the rotor, several working conditions were analyzed and computed. The analysis and calculation results were as follows:? Researched and resolved the problem of the finite element modeling for space complex geometry such as rotor.? Confirmed the relationship between the assembly shrink rang and the heat temperature of the rotor.? Confirmed the relationship between the shrink range and the assembly pretightening force.?Confirmed the modality parameter of the rotor.? Analyzed the stress distribution under the common act of the environment temperature, inertia force and shrink fit when the rotor was working. The above analysis and calculation results resolved the problem that how to reasonably select the shrink rang during the design process and confirmed the assembly temperature under different shrink fit, which avoided the blindness of assembly, provided some better suggestion for the design of the rotor and offered reference datum for the safety and the steady running of the rotor. Not only is it very important to produce and use the device, but it also provided theory basis for optimizing production, lucubrating and creating high quality production.
