The prestressed concrete cassion beam has many good features such as economical using of materials,rational inner-force distribution,beautiful shapes and so on. So it has become more and more useful in market ,theatre ,meeting-room and other large-span public buildings and highrise buildings.The complication of the design of prestressed concrete places restrictions of its use to some degree. There are few softwares of prestressed concrete structure and even less of prestressed concrete cassion beam in this country. In this thesis,a prestressed concrete cassion beam computer aided design(CAD) system is presented.The CAD system of prestressed concrete cassion beam is given in detail in this thesis including two parts as follows.(1) Inner-forces analysis:In this section,the inner-forces were analyzed by matrix-displacement method.(2)Design Computation:In this section,the number of prestressed bars and steel reinforcements were calculated by load-balancing method. Then the shear and torsion strength of the beams and the number of stirrups were checked.The program for this system is pragmatic because it includes some cases that are always met in practice.
