Study On Automobile Fault Diagnosis Expert System Based On Fault Tree Analysis

The paper briefly introduces the basic theory of fault tree analysis and rule-based expert system,and offers to combine fault tree analysis with rule-based expert system. By connecting fault tree to diagnosis knowledge base through cut set,we can express expert knowledge totally,systematically,and logically by building fault tree. It makes automatic knowledge acquisition come true to obtain diagnosis rule base automatically according to the fault tree. By using program language Borland Delphi5.0 under Windows98,and applying the diagnostic method of artificial intelligence and the object-oriented programming design technology,we take the mixed reasoning strategy of obverse and reverse to develop the fault diagnosis expert system of automobile,which have better man-machine interacted interface. Finally,we take the diagnosis for abnormal tyre wear of some passenger car for example,the example validates that the method has better prospect,the diagnosis system has generality either.
