Based on laser-scanned inspecting technology, grating displacement measuring technology, close-loop servo control technology, computer real-time control and data processing technology, a bullet corre dimension optoelectronic comprehensive measuring system is presented, which is used to non-contact measurement of dimensions for the bullet core part of armor-piercing bullet. In this paper, the constitution and overall structure of the system are described. The measuring principle and method of the radial dimension, axial dimension and pitch aretheoretically studied. The laser-scanned inspecting system, grating displacement measuring system, close-loop servo control system ang its dynamic characteristics as well as computer control system are discussed in detail. The measuring errors of the system are theoretically analysized by experiments. The experimental results has shown that the system can meet the measuring requirement of the dimensions for bullet core part.
