Unbalance is a common fault of rotors. The automatic balance technology can balance the rotors online without trying weight,so it has a wide application prospect. For the purpose of the research and development of automatic balance system for rigid rotors,the dissertation deals with the measuring method of the unbalance signal,the design of automatic balance equipment and the strategy of automatic balance. The main content is as follows:(1) The state-of-the-art and tendency of the automatic balance technology are reviewed,the principal difficulties and key technologies are analyzed in secession,and then the significance of this paper is discussed.(2) The dynamics principle and basic theory of dynamic balance and automatic balance are both studied in detail.(3) On the basis of analyzing the trait of the unbalance signal,the dissertation brings forward the signal processing flow accordingly,the sampling and digital processing of the signals are described and the calculation of the rotate velocity and the fast computing method of the unbalance are presented.(4) After proposing the idea of "Electro-magnetic drive force based on the principle of PMI motor",the dissertation studies a new kind of balance head-PMI-ERC. The PM-TR balance head with infrared remote control is designed,which is powered by battery and driven by cutting wave.(5) The dissertation improves the coordinates shift strategy for 1-plane automatic balance,and then studies the shift optimization strategy for 2-plane. The quick balance strategy for 1-plane is brought forth based on the influencing coefficient method,and idea is further spread to 2-plane automatic balance.(6) The software for automatic balance and dynamic balance is developed.(7) A lab system has been constructed. The results of mass experiments indicate the notable effect of 1-plane automatic balance and the high precision of dynamic balance,and demonstrate the application value of the system.
