In this paper,the turbine generator rotor and the paper machine rotor,which belong to the long span rotor,have been researched.The finite element analysis software ANSYS14.0 has been used to study turbo generator rotor dynamics,and combining the theoretical knowledge of dynamic balance of rotor with the dynamic characteristics of rotor to research the field balancing technologies of flexible rotor in this paper,Firstly,the dynamics characteristics of turbo generator spindle rotor have been analyzed respectively through the transfer matrix method combined with MATLAB and the finite element analysis software ANSYS14.0,The results have been compared and analyzed,and the results showed that using finite element analysis software ANSYS14.0 to research rotor dynamics analysis is more convenience and intuitive.Secondly,the modal analysis,harmonic analysis and transient response analysis of turbine generator rotor that belong to the long span rotor have been finished.The first three natural frequencies and mode shapes of the generator rotor have been obtained by modal analysis.We got the first three critical speed of the generator rotor under multiload steps,and the impact on the natural frequency of the gyroscopic effect has been analyzed.The unbalance situation of rotor have been simulated by load the excitation in different parts of the rotor and in different ways through harmonic analysis.We got the modes rule and relevant response characteristics of rotor under different excitation loading,which provides the actual reference for the select of balance surface.The response characteristics and rules of turbo generator rotor at different accelerations have been researched,and we also research its hysteresis characteristics and damping characteristics during the accelerated startup process.Again,we research the basic theory of rotor dynamic balance and compare differences of rigid rotor and flexible rotor dynamic balance.The two basic methods of flexible rotor balancing have been introduced,which includes the basic principle and calculation method of the modal balance and influence coefficient method.Finally,we combine the flexible rotor balancing theory with Finite Element Analysis,and set paper machine rotor balancing craft based on rotor structural features and modal balance method.we also build a balancing test platform for on-site balancing test,which based on influence coefficient method.Ultimately,we verify the theoretical analysis through finish successfully the field balancing of paper machine rotor.
