Mega-structure, which is being extensively used, is an important structures system of high-rise buildings. The researches of mega- structure have been being paid close attention to by academic and engineering circles. Though a lot of achievements have been obtained, many problems remain unsolved for their complex nature.Wind load is a major kind of design load for high-rise buildings, this paper researches on the along-wind problems of mega- structure. The suitable model of wind load is developed by investigating into the wind load acted on mega- structure based on the probability, the mathematical model of an equivalent continuum column and beam is proposed. Then the deflections and accelerations of along-wind effects on mega- structure are derived from the method of disintegration of vibration modes, the infinite degree of freedom system may by resolved into a many number of degree freedom system, by the theory of random vibrations. The assumptions of some fundamental parameters and first model function and the model of mass are presented, and the computer program AWCTS is developed with the measure-mental and analogical results. It is shown that the parameters, computer methods, the responses of deflection and acceleration are fairly good accord with practical results. Gass integrations are used in the AWCTS programs in order to improve the computational efficiency. Furthermore, it is suited for the calculations of the structures resisted wind force and analysis of the structural responses as affected by parameters.
