Non-destructive Testing(NDT) is a kind of method of quality test which doesn't destroy the tested object, and the industrial computerized tomography(ICT) is called the best method of NDT. Many scientists and engineers in the field of NDT pay more attention to the technology of ICT, and many developed countries do their best to study in this field.Now it's the second and the third generation scanning method that are widely used in ICT. In the third generation scanning method, the object just makes rotation motion, our country has made great progress and arrived the international advanced level, today this method is widely used in γ-ICT. But in the second, our country drops behind the developed countries, the research is still in underway level. In the X-ICT system, because the radial is narrow, the second generation scanning is adopted. The author studies the second generation scanning method of X-ICT first in the homeland combining with the scientific research task.In the dissertation, the importance and the application merits of the second are first presented and the basic principle of CT is fully discussed. After the author analysed the specialties of the second, two kind of scanning schemes of realizing the second are put forward, and after analyzing the relative relation of three kind of motions, the author put forward two kind of schemes improving the scanning efficiency. On the base of that, the author works out the whole control system. Because of the many merits of the step motor, the step motor is selected to drive the machine settings. Then considering of the specialties of the step motor and the control system, the author designs the COM circuit,the control circuit and the subdivision driving circuit of the step motor.In the dissertation, the author designs the distributed control system constituted of the upper computer and the lower computer as the control scheme. The upper computer is just personal computer, in it, the user can select control scheme, setup control parameter, send out control signal and so on. Three single chip computers make up of the lower computer that completes all kinds of control scheme. In order to lighten the burden, every step motor is controlled by a single-chip computer. When designing the circuit, the universally compositive chips are widely used to improve the integration of the control system and the capability of anti-jamming.The author designs the software of the control system based on the control circuit and the scanning scheme, including the upper computer software and the lowercomputer software. In the upper computer, C++ builder, the object oriented programming language, is used to design the interface, the serial communication function is realized by embedding the assemble language into C++ language. In the lower computer, all kinds of functions are all realized with the assemble language.Three kinds of control schemes put forward in the dissertation are completed in the experiment, and the experiment results have important reference significance for doing the research in the second generation scanning method of X-ICT.
