Recently years, because the resource under forests in east of Liaoning Province was developed, and many trees are cut, so ability of keeping water for soil is decreased. Many roadbed, bridge basement, and defense constructs along rivers has been destroyed by flood which is formed while the rainy season. The task is based on the inland and foreign research results and methods about roadbed and bridge ruins of flood. The paper combine with the flood of Liaoning province specialty: insurgent impetus, rapid flux, enormous destroy grade. The paper researches the scour depth forming mechanics of bridges and roadbed along river, and the calculating formulations are represented. The occurring probabilities of flood ruins are scientific forecasted. The paper is made up of three parts, which include the first part: the evolvement course and character of mountainous area rivers. The second part is the scour mechanics about the pier of bridge and roadbed in the mountainous area. The third part include defend measure about road along river.The first part includes the second chapter; which recommend the river formed specialty, classify norm and engineering value. All of these can offer theoretical foundation for researching the pier, road scour.The second part includes the third and forth chapter; which use transport theory to research mechanics of pier and road scour. The chapter based on factor of flood ruins, combine with hydromechanics research results. In the end the scientific forecast can be acquired in the east of Liaoning province.The third part includes the fifth chapter. The chapter mainly solves the scour problem for road along river and bridge approach road, which aim at mountainous area river specialty. There are directive meanings for actual engineering.
