The main content of this subject is to reformat the former burner that uses petroleum and adapt it to coal gas combustion. By the study of Flame Propagation Theory and Flame Stability Theory, backfire and yellow flame can be avoided by regulating the speed of flame propagation and exit velocity of mixture current at orifice. In experiment, steady operating point of combustion can be obtained mainly by setting primary air factor and the size of spout. After reformatting the former burner, it possesses many good characteristics, such as the enhancement of combustion efficiency, flame stability, etc. Therefore, on the basis of all of those mentioned above, a small automatic coal gas boiler with 30000 therm an hour has been designed. The structure of this boiler is adopted the type of volume fire-tube, which can satisfy people's need of high-fiowrate when using hot water and the demand of central heating unit in modern houses. It can also preserve invariable temperature.All in all, the study of the theory and experiment about the technique and device of small automatic coal gas boiler has great signification to the realization of high performance, low price, automatic and high secure boiler.
