China's reserves of anthracite is abundant and relatively concentrated. Because of its high calorific it is usually as used coal fired boiler fuel in a power plant. Take Guizhou Province as the representative, the vast majority of anthracite are used as the "W" shape flame Anthracite Boiler's fuel. But anthracite boiler has some problems, such as poor stability, low efficiency, low ash fusion temperature and other issues. The existence of these problems has seriously restricted the use of anthracite and the development of economy in Guizhou Province, reduced the energy utilizetionrate and intensified the situation of energy shortage in China. So how to solve the problem of "W" type flame Anthracite Boiler is imminent.According to the characteristics of anthracite and "W" shape flame Anthracite Boiler actual existence problem, this paper uses relatively well performanced a wide degree of split burner anthracite fired boiler as a representative by means of computer numerical simulation to guide practice transformation method proposed following improvements:(1)exhaust air nozzle is arranged in a central location near the furnace which replaces the original secondary air to improve the pulverized coal concentration in the high temperature zone.(2)the tertiary air box is separated with diversion small channel, which aims to improve the rigidity of the ternary air jet.(3)Increase the anti-slagging air in the side wall. Modification of the slit type burner Anthracite Boiler of a power plant in Guizhou Province. After transformation, the boiler of combustion stability greatly enhanced, the boiler efficiency is increased by 1.98 percentage points, reached 90.48%, reduced the carbon content of fly ash by 2.61% down to 5.93%, boiler desuperheating water use quantity is greatly reduced, furance slagging was under control, the coal consumption was reduced, and benefits of social and enterprise were improved.In addition, this paper provides a good example for the computer simulation theory practice as well as powerful data support and technical reference for the transformation of the same type of boiler.
