On the basis of theory of flocculation ,The author analyzed and educed the influence of flocculation on the dosage of macromolecule flocculation agent by experiment. It point out: the more the molecule weight of the flocculation agent, the better the effect of flocculation is ,the higher the ion degree of flocculation agent ,the better the effect of flocculation is .The author pointed out there is a exponent function relation between dosage y and natural interface settling velocity x of : y = axb. There is a start dosage D1 in the flocculation of loess particles, the expression is D1 = a(So Cw )b .There is a theoretical optimum value y in the dosage of flocculation agent. The relation between it and natural interface setting velocity u is y = aub.There is a linen relation between surface coverage 6 and surface area S, 0 = aS + b .The surface coverage affect the effect of flocculation, and explain the relation by using surface coverage. It depict the phenomenon of second flocculation of high turbidity water, depict the apply of fraction in brief.A new photoelectric method for monitoring the flocculation of transmitted light is applied to the flocculation of high turbidity water. By comparing the value of R , we can evaluated the effect of flocculation . The author pointed out the effect of flocculation can be evaluated by flocculation index (FI) .The effect of using inorganic and organic flocculation agent together and the order of casting can be evaluated by comparing R and FI. At last, we discussed the application of photoelectric method in production.The discourse also depict the consistency of different deepness in precipitator , when the interface is a fixed value, and compare the measure result and calculate result.
