The invention and development of active suspension technology only has several decade, but has made great progress, it is important amelioration for traditional suspension system, and it has been proved by the theory and practice that it has well application foreground.In the paper, a new type of active automobile suspension control system is studied based on fuzzy theory and modern control theory, and numerical analysis and computational simulation is made for dynamic behavior of two degrees of freedom system for a 1/4 car model. The design and calculation of active suspension controller is emphasized particularly. In the process of design for automobile active suspension controller, the control arithmetic of fuzzy-PID is adopted. It has been proved that the active suspension controller which adopt fuzzy-PID arithmetic improve efficiency the behavior of static state control, has robustness for the change of system configuration parameters by cyber-simulation.The first chapter places the emphasis on development course, practical actuality and development foreground for active suspension, in addition the control arithmetic for active suspension has been discussed.In the second chapter, how to select several important parameters for active suspension has been discussed, the force producer for active suspension has been modeled, and road frequencies have been analyzed in theory.In the third chapter, basic theory including fuzzy gather, subjection function,fuzzy reasoning and so on is been discussed, at the same time, fuzzy control theory and the design method is also been given.In the fourth chapter, the fuzzy-PID controller for active suspension has been discussed, which includes the parameter selection and controller design for fuzzy controller and PID controller.In the fifth chapter, the author has established the passive suspension model of 1/4 vehicle, and simulation is carried through for fuzzy-PID controller, which has been designed in above chapter to validate its effect. Finally simulation result is summarized.In the sixth chapter, the author summarizes the former intent all, and give some advices for the development of suspension technology.
