Tensegrity as a new structural conception has many connections with inter-discipline since it was proposed. Fuller's synergetic philosophic idea,form finding,morph categorization and mechanics properties have a great contribution to the application of the essence of the human thinking. As the cutting edge of the study in space structure,the studies in tensegrity cover a great spectrum. This paper concentrates on the morphology,form-finding and dynamics properties based on the achievement of the former study.The dynamic means of investigating tensegrity is proposed in this paper based on the Fuller's synergetic conception. The analogy of the complex system,three form of material and the structural properties of tensegrity system is touched on in this paper. The form-finding problem is always solved by the deconstruction conception of Newton mechanics. But tensegrity system includes both structural conception and mechanism conception;the dynamic means of investigating tensegrity may have more advantage.The argument between the strut continuous and discontinuous always exists in engineering domain. The advantage and disadvantage of both strut continuous and discontinuous is investigated in this paper,and the efficiency of element combination mode is proposed to explain the difference between the strut continuous and discontinuous. Then the conception that the topmost element combination mode determines the properties of tensegrity is proposed. Energy complementary is also illuminating for the element combination mode of tensegrity. Based on the decomposition of regular tensegrity element,a new element combination method is got.The properties of tensegrity determine the discipline of the process of form finding. A new method of the process of tensegrity form finding is proposed based on the properties that the stress in every element will not change from negative to positive nor from positive to negative. This method concentrates on the topology of tensegrity,and it adapt for the initial process of the form find process of tensegrity. And some new tensegrity element will be found.The properties of tensegrity system determine the excellent performance in dynamics. So the study in dynamics is also important. The dynamic properties of the tensegrity that is combined by some modes is investigated in the effect of initial prestress and external force,some results are got. The damping effect is also touched in this paper. New method for decreasing the effect of damping is proposed.As a result,some methods for the tensegrity morphology,form finding process and solving the damping effect are proposed and the new study in tensegrity is touched on.
