Then analyses and studies the types, characteristics and internal factors of such decays. Meanwhile, it probes into the chances of redevelopment in light of history and society. Based on the many-faceted study in the revival of historical areas, and following the probe into the redevelopment cases from western developed countries, makes comparison between Chinese and foreign countries in the development, feature and design in historical areas.How to form the dual benefit between redevelopment and physical environment modeling is significant in guaranteeing the realization of urban historical area' s sustainable development.
