Analysis And Design Of Historical And Cultural City Protection From The Perspective Of Spatial Cognition

Thirty years of reform and opening up,in the process of urban modernization,historical and cultural heritage is suffering unprecedented damage.Rapid advance of urban construction,planning and design of the monotony,and unlimited copy without thinking,leading to the emergence of a large number of similar historic city streets and buildings.Ancient original traditional style and features are weaker and weaker,culture breaking down appears significantly.Changting as a national historical and cultural city,the ancient city of more than two decades in the overall pattern of protection,effective protection under the strategic guidance of the principle of history and culture,protection work has achieved some results.But they have neglected not only the inhabitants of the ancient city about improving the urban environment needs of modern life,but also ignored the change trends in urban cultural tourism development.With the deepening of historical and cultural protection,the protection is no longer the sole focus.Rebuilding the genius loci,creating a good interaction between humans and space environment in the ancient city,is the key route to establish the good protection of historical and culture city.In this paper,the perspective of spatial cognition,the introduction of City Image and Space Syntax theory of human behavior and cognition as a starting point,we study the protection of historical and cultural city.On the basis of images on the investigation,this paper is to understand the history of the constituent elements Changting Town city image,and how the public reacting to the ancient city space.On the basis of space syntax analysis of the model,we are going to determine the constituent elements of each space intelligibility strength and weakness,and then to understand the space of Changting historical city rationally.Using combination of subjective and objective method,we can analyze and read the space comprehensively.On the basis of cognitive space,this article based on a combination of factors-image imagery survey and future potential based on imagery elements syntactic analysis presented imagery space design principles and concepts.On the macro level,the basis of the overall characteristics of the city,macroscopic image elements as a guide to create the overall urban landscape image.On the micro level,from the perspective of the five elements of urban imagery,combined with modern urban design techniques,emphasizing road accessibility,developing node’s strategic and place function,highlighting landmark cultural characteristics,playing the positive meaning of the edge,clearing district topic continuity,we set up relative design to accomplish the rebuild of city image and inherit of the history.The whole thesis contains about 37 000 words,67 pictures and charts.
