The paper summarized the current situations of theories and practices on demolishing high-rising structures with controlled blasting, and a set of mathematical models on demolishing tubular structures with controlled blasting was built. Applied the models, computer aided design (abbr. CAD) system on parameters of blasting cut was developed. At last, the paper discussed theoretical methods to calculate the shock force or the shock stress, and problems on dynamic responses of shallow-buried structures due to the falling-down of demolished structures. The mathematical model on blasting cut angle of the high-rising tubular structure was built, and based on the model, calculating methods about the cutting height and the angle of the-direction-window were established, which completely gets rid of the defaults of experiential methods because of its wide range of choice of the cutting parameters. So it is the greatest innovation in the paper. CAD system on parameters of blasting cut applied to the tubular high-rising structure could make it convenient to design project. Applying the research results form the paper, the author designed respectively the cut parameters of the brick chimney and the reinforced concrete chimney with controlled blasting, and compared its results with the practical projects. The results show that the mathematical model is valid and possesses practical value.
