Human has been closely related to mountainous areas since the ancient time. With the development of the society, people get deeper understanding on mountainous areas and form consummate ideas about the mountainous areas. Living in the modern material culture, people are eager to relief from nervous and oppressed feelings that bring by high-rate life and acute competitions. As a result, people would like to resort to nature and be immersed in the beautiful scenery. Therefore, the park in mountainous areas becomes the particular space for affectionate satisfactions and outdoor activities. Our country is a mountainous nation. The mountainous areas accounts for 2\3 of the total land and its population is about half of all the population of China. The mountainous cities consist 50 percent of the total cities. Most urban construction spaces are mountainous areas or spaces have complicated topography. Park in mountainous areas is distributed over a wild region, where the surroundings are specific in natural space, climate, ecology with the distinct landscape characteristic. However, the practical construction is high-demanding in building pattern, landscape, traffic, design and technique due to the hill area.Now, ecology has become a common understanding of the current time. People have clearly realized the value of the environment. During the construction of the landscape space, some people are still regardless of the principle that "suitable for the right place" and destroy the original topography of the mountainous areas. Eventually the phenomenon of "transforming mountainous areas into plain areas" still exists. Especially with the improvement of the people's living standard and increasing need of outdoor space. It is high time that that we put forward a practicable theory to guide construction of Park in mountainous areas. For this purpose, the thesis analyzes and summarizes the ideas that the former research bring to us? carries out preliminary explore on landscape space design ofPark in mountainous areas referring to the relational subject: urban planning, architecture and behavioral psychology.All the thesis includes the following six parts:1. Analyze the factors influence the mountainous natural landscape space character, generalizes mountainous landscape space characteristic and mountainous visual landscape characteristic.4. Research on the landscape space design of park in mountainous: Beginning with the relationship between the man-made space and natural space. This chapter is based on the construction of special spot, special extension, series organization, special connection and control, the establishment of special acting system, the design of special visual landscape and special cultural affectionate design. Considering how to construct the special spot of park in mountainous areas on the condition of applying to and respect the general characteristic of mountainous. Then it offers a resolution to the problem about the contradiction between human and land.5.
