The Theory Study On Coordination Of Traffic Control System And Traffic Guidance System In Modern Traffic Management

Presently, traffic problem is the one of the serious "city sicknesses" in many regions, which lie to our country and it has become the bottle-neck that holds in the farther development of the economy of our country. An advanced and efficiency traffic management system ( TMS) is not only able to control and guidance the traffic flow effectively, but also able to organize> harmonize and optimize the ways to control and guidance traffic flow from the higher levels, namely, coordination of traffic control system (TCS) and traffic guidance system (TGS).Firstly,the paper sums up the correlative literatures about the coordination of TCS and TGS that have been studied by the domestic and foreign experts. Based on this, the status and the problem in the field of traffic coordination will be pointed out .Secondly,the paper analyzes and discusses the essence characters^ structures and functions of TCS and TGS.Then,the paper studies the essential relation between the two systems from the different levels and angles. The paper uses the theories and ways of system to analyze the need about their coordination and gives the models of degree of coordination about TCS and TGS . Finally,the paper gives the way to optimize the traffic system and makes the groundwork for the farther study.In a word,the paper uses the theories of system and traffic engineering to analyze the traffic management system,thoroughly. The paper also sets up the model of degree of coordination about TCS and TGS with the idea that make the system optimized.At last ,the paper briefly studies the way to optimize the TCS -TGS complex system.
