Research On Web-Based E-Chart And Application In Ship Logistics

With reference to existent ECDIS, we designed new electronic chart applying the technology of net and database. The methods keep the merits of the existent corrective methods and abandon their shortcomings, bring forword the 3-layer system struction(expresstion/application/data), and be used in the CSDL center netstation project, win the high opinion.This dissertation is about the research I have engaged in.The paper mainly introduces existent questions blocked ECDIS' developmentin the first chapter, analyzes merits and shortcoming synthetically and putsforward author' s methods at last;introduces briefly design and structureon Web-based E-CHART in second chapter; introduces some pivotal technologysin the webchart system and build the chart data model in the thirdchapter;explains all website' s design and structure in the fourthchapter;points out the development aspect in the future and some neededworks in this system in the last chapter.In conclusion ,webchart' s database is published to the internet site. Users can get information at any moment through Internet and download the local database. The methods make full use of the advantages of internet.
