With the progress of modern science and technology,maritime industry also keep on informatization,automation development,among them Electronic Chart Display and Information System(ECDIS)technology is an important part of the navigation.Pass by decades of development history of production,application and development,the technology of ECDIS has been matured.The practicability,effectiveness and convenience of ECDIS is commonly made by each shipping company,using ECDIS on ships is more and more popular,and has become the development trend of obvious.For years,IMO and China MSA have enacted the ECDIS training and assessment standard of related operation,therefore,the research of correlative technique of ECDIS training become a topic which has theory and practice value.Now,most of the navigation colleges use method of ECDIS operational training is simulator based on computer,whih has good effect.But there are also some problems,such as resource wastes because of deprecated ECDIS prototype system.So this thesis designed a scheme to implement the interconnection between prototype system and control software,enhanced the effect of training.Firstly,according to the IEC 61162 agreement,concluded the hardware electrical characteristics,data transmission standard,data format and data content of marine communication and navigation equipment deeply;specific analysed the meaning of each field in signal sentence from two aspects:plain code and secret code,simulated GPS,Compass,Log and AIS signal sentences which can be identified by ECDIS;secondly,in terms of ship motion model,comparated and analyed IEC 62065 equation and K-T equation,built a ship motion model suitable for this thesis,and then added the engine telegraph and rudder control module,which embedded in the signal simulator,then made the simulated signals be controlled by telegraph and rudder,and conformed to the motion rule;finally,sent simulated singal to ECDIS prototype system via serial ports with certain time interval in accordance with the relevant standard,realized the simulation of ships sailing on the ECDIS,verified the performance of this simulator.The thesis used modular programming method to realize the design and relevant function in Visual C++ environment.Made ECDIS prototype system play a more important role in ECDIS training.
