In the field of Intelligent Control, the fuzzy theory and neural networks are new studies that have being rapidly developed recently. They have being applied in many fields such as Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Automation, Expert System, Information Science, CAD/CAM, Medicinal Diagnosis, Economy.The main task of the paper is to control a Major Variable Pitch Wind Turbine Generator with intelligent controller so as to make it run well. First, the paper presents the survey of cybernatic theory. Neural Networks and Fuzzy Control, and the status quo of Wind Turbine Generator. Second, the paper introduces the modeling of the Major Variable Pitch Wind Turbine Generator in detail and presents the simulink result of the Major Variable Pitch Wind Turbine Generator without controller. Third, in the third chapter the paper puts forward a control tactics of the Major Variable Pitch Wind Turbine Generator. For comparing conveniently with the Neural Networks Controller and the Fuzzy Controller that have been designed in the later chapters, this paper gives the simulink result of the Major Variable Pitch Wind Turbine Generator with PID controller in brief. Finally, this paper designs the Neural Networks Controller and the Fuzzy Controller, and gives satisfying results.This paper has simulinked the controller with MATLAB. In appendix 1 the paper gives the list of the training program of the Neural Networks based MATLAB. In appendix 3 the paper gives the list of the module program of the Fuzzy Control based MATLAB. From the simulink results, we can see whether the following capability or the anti-jamming capability, the control effect of intelligent controllers is better than PID controller. That is to say, the intelligent controllers can cut down the oscillation more efficiently and arrive at stabilization more rapidly.In the end, this paper makes a summary for the whole. It induces the solved problem and the got conclusion, and shows the future development of the Neural Network and the Fuzzy Theory.
